Hydro Power Company Gorna Arda surprised all first graders in Ardino municipality with presents for their first day at school. The gifts – treats and educational materials, combined Bulgarian and Austrian traditions. In Austria children traditionally receive beautiful packed cones, full with treats for their first day at school. In Bulgaria, as we all know, we call the students who pass the threshold of the class room, rabbits. That is why we gave as presents those wonderful, bright orange carrots, wishing them good luck.
